BEHIND THE ADVICE

Know what we checked.

A useful review tells you how its conclusions were reached.

Research reviews

Our current research reviews draw on published manufacturer documentation. They identify the source material, explain trade-offs, and distinguish specifications from our interpretation. They do not claim first-hand product experience or measured performance.

Hands-on testing

A hands-on label is reserved for products actually tested. That coverage should identify the tested configuration, methods, conditions, and limitations. The current library does not contain hands-on test results.

Buying guides and comparisons

Buying guides explain criteria and questions to ask. Comparisons help match options to a use case. A “best” label or score should be supported by a stated comparison method and evidence; neither is assigned to the current research articles.

Sources and updates

Research articles link to official sources and show when they were checked. Product features, subscriptions, and seller terms can change. Confirm the exact model or plan before purchasing.

Commercial relationships

Partner links are marked beside purchase options. Read the partner disclosure to understand how the site may earn revenue.

Corrections

If you see an error or a material change, send us the article title and the detail that needs checking.
