Office Depot and Lenovo Announce In-Store Availability of ThinkPad Wireless Notebooks

RALEIGH, N.C. and DELRAY BEACH, Fla., November 3, 2005 – Lenovo, the world’s third-largest personal computing company, announced today that it has teamed with Office Depot (NYSE: ODP), a leading global provider of office products and services, to sell its popular new Lenovo ThinkPad notebooks.

Office Depot customers will now be able to experience the new widescreen, titanium-encased Lenovo ThinkPad Z60t, and the Lenovo ThinkPad T43 with integrated fingerprinter reader, at any of the more than 1,000 Office Depot stores across the country. The nationwide rollout begins November 6th.

The award-winning ThinkPad notebooks are recognized throughout the industry for their quality and reliability, and feature such innovative technologies as an integrated fingerprint reader, embedded security subsystem, and an Active Protection System air bag-like technology which protects the user’s data in case the notebook is dropped.

In addition to the ThinkPad T43 and the widescreen ThinkPad Z60t now available at Office Depot and www.officedepot.com , customers can also select from the ThinkPad Express portfolio (available online only). ThinkPad models offered through Office Depot include the X Series, X41 Tablet, R Series, T Series and Z60 notebook models in addition to Lenovo mobile accessories and options. ThinkPad notebook prices for models offered through Office Depot start at $699.
