Lenovo PC&EBG Leadership Changes – Lenovo StoryHub

Lenovo today announced leadership changes in its PC & Enterprise Business Groups, appointing the following executives to new positions:

  • Tom Shell, senior vice president, Enterprise Business Group.  Mr. Shell was previously in charge of the company’s PC Business Group.  He joined the company in 2006 and has established a strong track record of attaining profitable growth and industry leadership across several product lines.
  • Johnson Jia, senior vice president, PC Business Group.  Mr. Jia formerly led the company’s PC & Enterprise Global Operations.  He has been with Lenovo for 20 years with successful tenures in critical product management and operations assignments, including head of the company’s Think-branded business and Chief Procurement Officer, among others.
  • Guan Wei, vice president, PC & Enterprise Global Operations.  Mr. Guan was most recently CEO of Lenovo’s manufacturing joint venture with Compal Electronics, where he oversaw rapid growth in production volume while making major improvements in customer service in this new facility.  He also led supply chain operations for Lenovo’s Mobile Business.

As part of this reorganization, the company indicated it does not expect any changes to current business strategies for its PC and Enterprise businesses.
