RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, NC and SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – September 1, 2009: Today at VMworld 2009, Lenovo and VMware announced an agreement to provide VMware vSphere™ 4 on Lenovo ThinkServer offerings around the world. Starting in the fourth quarter of 2009, Lenovo will distribute and market VMware vSphere 4 through Lenovo’s sales channels. This enhanced relationship builds on a previous agreement to provide VMware virtualization on Lenovo servers sold in China.
