Purchase, N.Y., September 26, 2005 – Lenovo Group today announced the appointment of Steven J. Bandrowczak as senior vice president and chief information officer. He will report directly to Steve Ward, Lenovo’s chief executive officer, and be responsible for the company’s information technology strategy and operations, including network infrastructure, business applications and data security.

Bandrowczak, 45, was most recently executive vice president and chief information officer at DHL Worldwide. Prior to DHL, Bandrowczak was chief operating officer at Seal Consulting Group, and before that, CIO at Avnet, an electronics distributor, where he spent 14 years in various information technology roles. Bandrowczak holds a degree in Computer Science from C.W. Post University.
